Rhod and John founded Vertigo in 2007 wanting to build on their years of experience in exhibition and museum design.

The owners

Rhodri Thomas
Director, 3D Designer

Rhod worked in Germany, Spain and Japan on commercial interiors for clients such as Deutsche Bank, Caja de Madrid Bank, Co-op Bank, Nissan and Jaguar before turning to museum interiors and display in the mid-nineties. He has conceived, designed and developed interpretive display designs for many regional and national museums including Royal Armouries, award-winning Sacrewell Mill, Erasmus Darwin House Museum and Much Wenlock Museum.

 

Rhod can fix anything, anywhere. He loves cheese and marmalade on toast and is a committed committee member of his local beer festival, raising money for local charities.

John Moseley
Director, Graphic Designer

John has a wealth of experience in all aspects of graphic design and project management.

He has developed compelling and responsive concepts for Vertigo’s clients that engage and inspire. These range from corporate re-brands, literature and advertising to experience-focused schemes, interpretive exhibition and museum graphics. These include successful projects for; G7th – the capo company, The National Federation of Young Farmers, Grammer, Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, HMS Trincomalee Exhibition at the Hartlepool Maritime Experience, Flying Dinosaurs exhibition at Leicester University and Abington Park Museum.

 

John has an unwavering affection for Lego. He’s no couch potato and he loves a challenge, like completing the 170-mile coast to coast on his bike and earning his black belt in Karate.
